“Faster and smaller supercomputers ":http://www-03.ibm.com/press/us/en/pressrelease/22769.wss will be possible in the near future. This is cool stuff. I can’t wait to see the first CPUs which use light for internal communication. Maybe we have to adjust Moore’s Law a bit then :)
There are a bunch of cool things coming out of research lately. Let’s see when they really make into the market. I’m still waiting for solid state disks to become affordable…
